As a fellow member of the Humane Society, I’m sure that you value animals as much as I do.
I am also sure you are aware of the significant increase in animals requiring services at local animal shelters. Many shelters are forced to turn animals away due to limitations of both space and funding.
The Humane Society has recently decided to build another branch shelter in Arizona near Avondale. They estimate that the cost of building and operating the shelter will be in the range of $500,000 to $700,000; however, this year’s budget does not allow for a project of such immensity.
As a concerned member of the Humane Society I urge you to support this worthy cause by making a donation towards the construction of a new animal shelter. To make your donation, visit the Humane Society branch office at which you are registered or fill out the enclosed form and send a check or money order to the Humane Society, 1254 West Congress Street, Tuscon, Arizona 85701. Please make your check or money order payable to The Humane Society Arizona Chapter.
