Dear all employees,
Presentation skills and public speaking skills are very useful in many aspects of work. Effective presentations and public speaking skills are important in business, sales and selling, training. Presentations and public speaking skills are not limited to certain special people -anyone can give a good presentation, or perform public speaking to a professional and impressive standard. Like most things, it simply takes a little preparation and practice.
With this in mind, we will be holding a workshop titled "Improving Presentation Skills." The workshop will be facilitated by Phillip Moore, a professor at Ellington University. Mr. Moore will show how techniques commonly used by famous speakers can enhance communication strategies in the boardroom, at client sites, and at professional conferences.
The workshop attendees will also learn about the formats and purposes of presentations; for example, oral, multimedia(using various media-visuals, audio, etc), Power Point presentations, short impromptu presentations, long planned presentations, and more.
The workshop will be held on Friday, March 15, from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. in the conference room 1020(the 10th floor)at the large conference center next to the Empire Hotel. To register, call extension 698 and leave a voice mail with your name and employee number. Only the first fifteen employees who call will be offered a place, so act quickly if your are interested.
