Ms. Sato began her career here 20 years ago as an intern, and has steadily moved upward in the company. Her first advancement came when Marketing Manager Vince Denton hired her as a marketing assistant. A few years later, she earned an accounting degree and began work as a junior accountant in our banking division. She then kept moving up, first to senior accountant and later to her present position of accounting supervisor.
Human Resources director Carla Wong remembers interviewing Ms. Sato for her internship. "I knew Mia was special from the moment she walked into the room," Ms. Wong said. "She clearly had exceptional drive and ambition."
Ms. Sato will begin her new position on April 11th, and will work under the supervision of accounting services director Diane Hilton.
