The Tomato Festival is held each year in Bunol, located in a fertile region some 26 miles north of the coastal city of Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city, on the last Wednesday in August. More than 50, 000 people, including many visitors from Australia, Britain and all over the world, took part this year in the tomatoes fight known as the "Tomato Festival", now in its 70th year.
