Who started the magazine Living Tech? [br]
It was announced today that the long-running science and technology magazine Living Tech will stop printing in January. The magazine began 23 years ago in Wellington, New Zealand by a group of young college professors. Their goal was to present science and technology news to ordinary people in simple but interesting ways. The magazine was a huge success among college students almost immediately, and within 3 years it was being used in high school science classes in more than 30 countries around the world. Ironically, the reason for the magazine’s end is due to technology. People are using the Internet more and more for their news and information. Magazines just can’t compete.
选项
A、Most readers cannot understand the technical language.
B、There are fewer college graduates these days.
C、More people are getting information from computers.
D、The cost of paper is rising.
答案
C
解析
因为越来越多的人通过互联网获得信息,所以杂志不具备竞争力了。因此(C)是正确答案。
