Drivers heading downtown should be aware that there will be heavy traffic for the remainder of the day. Construction on Main Street continues, and the intersection of Main Street and Apple Avenue is blocked now. Officials encourage drivers to take alternative routes until tomorrow. This construction will alleviate rush-hour traffic and is expected to conclude next Thursday. Downtown traffic will soon be improved. That’s it for the traffic report.
