Interviewer: Well, Sun Hao and Wang Fei, the last part of this speaking test is a discussion task. Your discussion topic is on this task card. You have about 30 seconds to read it carefully. After you have read the task, you will have a discussion on the given topic. Your discussion time is around three minutes. OK? Now read your task card.

Wang Fei: Well. I think one of the things our organization could do for these employees is to allow them relatively flexible working schedules, because like caring for a child, anything could happen while caring for an elderly parent.
Sun Hao: You mean these employees could be forgiven if they are late for work when emergency occurs to their elderly parents?
Wang Fei: Yeah.
Sun Hao; But it would be very unfair to other employees who are not eligible for this benefit.
Wang Fei: I know. I haven’t quite finished yet. I mean they could be forgiven for being late, on the condition that they must notify their supervisors in advance that they will be late and must make up the time sometime during the next 30 days.
Sun Hao: Oh, that’s exactly what I had in mind. What do you think our organization should do if employees have to take a longer leave because of their elderly parents?
Wang Fei: That’s a good question. What do you think?
Sun Hao: Well, I think, in order to help them, our organization should allow them to take longer unpaid leaves of up to a certain amount of time, and also allow them to return to their present jobs and current salaries after that.
