问题 The graphs below show the changing share prices of two private companies which went public and issued shares on the stock exchange. Both companies were eventually bought back by their previous owners.
Using the information from the graphs, write a short report describing the general movement of the share prices and comparing the performance of the two companies between the issue date and the buy-back date.

答案     The issue price of shares in Scorpio was $ 16 in late 1992. The price then rose but fell dramatically at the end of 1993. Prices recovered slightly in 1994 but were still below the issue price. They fell again and recovered to reach the issue price in late 1994 when the company was bought back.
    The issue price of shares in the West End Group was just over $ 5 in January 1991.
    Despite a couple of falls, the price rose steadily throughout the late 1990s and never fell below the issue price. The buy-back in mid 1996 was over double the issue price.
