答案       From the graph we can see the two chain stores that are located in the downtown area and densely populated district did pretty well. They’ve been increasing their profits year by year from 1998 to 2003, and have reached their profit peaks in 2003, which were $900,000 and $700,000 respectively.
     While the two chain stores have made such achievements, the third one situated in the suburbs turned out unsatisfactory. Although it has gained a little progress in profit making, it has never surpassed the limit of $200,000. I assume that it is mainly due to its location, where there are not as many consumers around as in the places where the other two chain stores are situated. We can also see that the store in the downtown area has always maintained the highest profits.
