Woman: Hi, Steven, this is Monica.
Man: Hi, Monica, what’s up?
Woman: I’m really sorry to bother you at this time. But I’m concerned about the delays we’re experiencing with some of our suppliers.
Man: No worries, everything is getting back on schedule. But you know, it’s the end of the year, the busiest season of transportation service.
Woman: Well, I hope our clients could understand the situation. Anyway, they have paid us in advance and they are entitled to blame us for delays or even ask for refunds. By the way, where are most of our suppliers located?
Man: Well, most of them are in Australia, but there are a few in Malaysia.
Woman: How does that affect deliveries?
Man: Well, mostly weather delays and I heard that the suppliers in Malaysia had some problems with the customs but they assured me that everything was OK now.
Woman: Is there any way around these delays?
Man: Well, we often work with delivery services such as UPS, Fed Express or DHL for our most urgent shipping.
Woman: They are too expensive. But it seems that we have no alternatives.
Man: Yeah, I think so.
