      Thank you for your letter of 25 June. First of all, I would like to apologise for the unsatisfactory handling of your order.
      Deliveries have unfortunately been delayed by several weeks due to the truck drivers’ strike. However, this dispute has now been settled and 1 am pleased to inform you that we can replace your two damaged desks next week.
    As for the invoice, as an established customer you should indeed have received a 10% discount. I enclose the amended invoice and trust that you will accept a further 2 % discount for the inconvenience caused.
     I would like to assure you that future orders will be dealt with reliably and efficiently.
