    It was good to see you last week and we are delighted that your silk garments will be included in our summer catalogue. (So are we!)
    As promised, the points listed below are agreed at the meeting.
    1．The contract is for the new Designer Series in three colours.(Which colours?)
    2．You have entrusted us with an exclusive distributorship in the U. S.(not permanently)
    3．The commission rate is 8% of the total value of annual sales.(If the turnover of the first year meets our standard. we will give 1% higher on the basis of 7%.)
    4．Payment will be by letter of credit.
    5．The initial order will be ready by April 18th.(do not agree)

Thank you for your letter of March 18th. We are also delighted that the new Designer Series will be in your catalogue.
However, there are some small points which need clarifying.
First, the new Designer Series come in 6 colours. Please refer to the samples offered and confirm which three colours you would like to order.
Second, the exclusive distributorship we have entrusted you is not once and for all, and the renewal of which will be decided by the annual quantity you sell.
Third, I can confirm that the commission rate is 7%, and if the turnover of the first year meets our standard, we will give 1% higher on the basis of 7%.
Finally, due to a full order book, we cannot deliver until April 18th. I hope this will be acceptable.
