M Tell me about your work experience, Susan.
F Well, I’ve been working as a bank cashier for six years.
M And what else have you done?
F I trained as a secretary and later went to work for Morleys. I stayed there for two years before moving to this job. Oh, and after college, I worked as a sales assistant for a while.

F1 Hi Isabel. Any jobs in the paper?
F2 Just three, actually. An ad ,for a typist-the worst paid of the ones I could apply for. And a vacancy for a PA in the city centre.
F1 Nothing local?
F2 The insurance office round the comer needs a receptionist. The money’s lower than for the PA post, but it’s reasonable.
F1 I’d go for that one if l were you.
F2 I think I will.
