Man: Hello, everyone, I just want to update you on our main plans for promotion this spring. The main campaign will of course be the sneaker, but we also have a reasonable budget for the new running shoes, which are coming out next month, as you know. For both titles, we’ve already taken full-page adverts in Sports magazine and I’m also considering space for the sneakers in the new monthly Reference Now. For window and general shop display, our designer has produced the wonderful stands you can see in the corner. I’m sure you’ll agree that the red is an improvement on the dark blue stands we had last year. Well, we’re booking a series of promotion gifts for handing out at exhibitions—currently on order are shoe polish and shoe ties, but possibly in future larger things too, like electric pace calculators for major clients. I’d like your opinions on that idea before I go ahead. Diana’s managed to negotiate some air time on West Elite and I’m going to visit a TV network on Friday— that’s more relevant to our future titles though. Now, publicity material—everything is listed in the annual catalogue, which will be ready to send to sports stands in January. And talking of sports brand agents’ mailshots we’ve also got one going out in January, which will be our information sheet. Finally, I can confirm the location for the sneaker launch party, which is March. Some of you know we were trying to get the university community, but in fact, we’ve now booked the entertainment centre, which will be excellent. Their Students Union will help us in the campaign.
