    Ours is an age of knowledge explosion. Science and technology develop so fast that new things come forth ceaselessly, which force people to make use of all time in order to accommodate themselves to this world. However, it seems that time is always not sufficient because countless things are waiting for people to do.
    From the aspect of people being influenced by the fast pace of society, there are both advantages and disadvantages. The positive effect is that people have to go forward continuously under the pressure of the fast pace of life. It is no doubt that the fast pace of life creates a sense of strain that compels people to realize the cruelty of competition. Under this situation, people will not stop moving forwards even they made great achievements in the past. Furthermore, we have to admit that time for people to arrange is limited, and the fast pace of life urges people to concentrate on foremost matter and utilize resources as much as possible. As a result, high efficiency can appear in individuals and society.
    On the other hand, many negative effects the fast pace of life result in are also as common as the positive ones. For example, it is easier to become ill if people suffer from pressures for a long time. In the face of disadvantages, what we should do is to seek out methods to transform them into advantages, such as making use of high technology to improve our working efficiency so that there is more time left for us to do, schedule our time-table and perform it strictly and so on. In this way, fast life pace will facilitate rather than cumber our development.
