    Experts are warning society that our children need more than a good life and that there are signs that "little emperors" are being spoiled. Yet parents are still tightening their belts to send their children to all kinds of "after-school schools" to learn things that the parents themselves seem to be interested in. Comment on this social phenomenon. Give your views on what our children need most.

    In modern times, more and more parents send their children to all kinds of "after-school schools" to learn things that the parents themselves seem to be interested in. There are some reasons for this social phenomenon.
    Most of all, children are the future of the family and our country. Their education has important consequences for their future development. Therefore, parents attach great importance to children’s education and invest in education for more than a good life. What’s more, with social competition becoming more and more furious, one child will fall behind other children if he/she doesn’t go to "after-school schools" while other children do.
    However, what children really need is neglected by their parents. In addiction to education, what our kids need most is spending every day with happiness and peace, without anxiety and tear. Too much time spending in schooling is not beneficial to their physical and mental health. I think that parents should strike a balance towards their kids’ learning and playing. Learning in schools and playing out of schools is a possible way. Parents must remember that too much burden of learning will lead to burnout of your children’s self-confidence.
    In a word, I hold an opinion that what our children really need is spending every day happily. Going to school is necessary, but don’t forget, kids are only kids who more need playing.
