答案               People Should Choose the Products They Would Like to Buy
   Many people are arguing whether they should buy products made in their own country without considering the price. Some insist that buying the country’s own products is the best way to boom the economy and form a national pride while others state that it is impossible for us to require people to buy home-made things with the coming of globalization. As far as I’m concerned, it is not practical to only buy things in our own country instead of the same things which are cheaper but made in foreign countries.
   To begin with, international exchange would be a better choice. For example, we have to pay a large amount of money to buy something inside our country for its materials are expensive. But for other countries, it may be commonly consumed or purchased because its raw materials are rich in those countries. There is no doubt that people will choose the cheaper one with the same quality since it is not easy for them to earn a living. Secondly, to buy things just in our motherland is a kind of trade protection which may bring some benefits to us. In the long term, however, this is not a wise choice. If that really happens, the products made by other countries may find it difficult to survive in our country, and we will lose the opportunity to learn the technology which helps us reduce the cost of products. Therefore, the gap between our own country and foreign countries will become bigger. Because of lack of competitors and surviving pressure, some companies may lose motivation to make progress, thus leading to the stagnation of people’s life.
   From what have been discussed above, we can safely draw the conclusion that it is unwise for us to focus our eyes on home-made things. And it’s free for people to choose the products they would like to buy.
