    A two-week poll conducted showed that about 70 percent were only partly familiar with the law bolstering (支持) protection of consumers’ rights and interests implemented two years ago. More than 60 percent of those surveyed said they would rather suffer silently rather than stand up for their rights. This was particularly the case among the elderly and people with higher levels of education.
    Those consumers said that they rather sustained an occasional loss than paid the transportation fares necessary to pick up invoice (发票) and find a quality inspection department for an appraisal.
