But I still write sometimes mostly to my family, and the letter I want to talk about is the one I gave my younger sister Emma. It was about 4 years ago and I wrote it as a reply to the letter she had written me.
　　Just after I’d moved to a new city and started my new school life, I received a beautiful letter from my younger sister who was only 12 years old at that time. In the letter, she wrote about how much she missed me and how things were different without me being around. She also asked me to write back as soon as possible with details of my new life and academic progress.
　　So, I wrote a reply letter to her and let her know how dearly I loved her and how deeply I longed to see my whole family again. I also talked about my new school, teachers, classmates, and the hostel I stayed in. It took me a couple of days to finish the letter.
　　Moving to a new city and adjusting to the new surroundings can be very difficult. Staying in touch with your family is quite essential during this sensitive period. This exchange of letters made me feel that I wasn’t alone and my family were always there for me. At that time, this kind act reduced my stress and loneliness by a significant level. Writing to someone we care about is always important and the letter I wrote to my sister was even more important because she and other family members must had been eagerly waiting for it.
