A grading film can tell this to the audience so that parents can make the right decision whether to take their children to the movie or not. I think this protects the children. Meanwhile, this is also a protection to the film industry as well. By introducing the censorship, filmmakers wouldn’t be limited in terms of storytelling just to cater for the potential younger audience in the cinema.
