答案 　　History is my favourite subject and I’ve learned a wide range of things from it I’ve come to realize that the past history is something that gives us real knowledge about our country, the world and the human race. This subject relates the past of our world, for example, what the social and economic conditions were and how the world has been shaped by different events over time. There’s a famous saying "to shape the future you must know the past" and history teaches us that.
　　The benefits of learning history are huge. First of all, the subject will make its learners experts about ancient times. Besides, history has many events or stories that will enrich the knowledge of the readers. For example, treatment of different diseases is really a surprise because ancient people had no access to the modern medicines. They used to diagnose diseases and other physical disorders and cure them with the help of nature. By the way, some of their methods still prevail in the modern medical science. So, if the knowledge could be made known to the public, it’d be beneficial for everyone.
　　When I was in year 6 or 7, history was a mandatory subject and I was captivated by it at first. But later, I put it aside because I had to work hard on science. I failed to learn more about history because my academic activities changed a lot I had to deal with physics, biology and chemistry. But now I feel that I should have studied history and to tell the truth, I really miss the fun out of it. So, if there were an opportunity, I would study the subject in the future.
