Have there been any changes in the ways people spend their holidays?
选项
答案
Yes, the past few years have seen great changes in the way people spend their holidays. We used to stay at home on holidays. However, because people are getting richer and can afford domestic and outbound travel, people these days are more interested in sightseeing or indulging themselves in luxury entertainment during their holidays. Meanwhile, the way people go travelling has also changed in recent years. People used to turn to travel agency. However, owing to the Internet and mobile apps, people can now plan their itinerary and book hotels and flights on their own. Although it involves lots of information gathering and planning work, people take delight in doing that. Also, some prefer studying on holidays, applying for interest-based classes, like language classes or flower arranging classes, to upgrade their skills or spice up their life.
