Can these first impressions be trusted?     People who trust their first impressions believe that a person’s appearance can be a good indication of not only his character, but also how he views himself and the people around him. It is true that we often send messages about our feelings without being aware of it. Body lan-guage is a good example of this. First impressions are, at best, an indication of how a person is feeling at the moment, and may not indicate his or her true character.
