    For this task, you will write an essay in response to a question that asks you to state, explain, and support your opinion on an issue. You have 30 minutes to complete your essay. Typically, an effective essay contains a minimum of 300 words. Your essay will be judged on the quality of your writing. 答案     I believe that class attendance should be optional for university students. A university education is not just about learning material presented in class. It is rather meant to teach people the skills they need to survive in the real world. Time management, prioritization, and the ability to predict the consequences of one’s actions are among the most essential of these skills.
    Attending class is not always necessary for academic success, and students may have better ways of spending their time. Many university students are being exposed to a party atmosphere for the first time, free of their parents’ oversight. They want to enjoy the social opportunities this presents, even if it means missing classes. After some free time, they will realize what they gain and lose from this experience and see how important it is for them to manage time for themselves.
    Some students need to find work to meet tuition costs and sometimes take work shifts that conflict with their class schedule. It should be left to the students to decide what their priorities are. Some students will choose to attend all of their classes and study hard, while others will skip classes to work. As a result, some students will do well, and others will see their grades suffer, but all will learn important lessons.
    Having freedom to manage their time and schedule on their own means taking responsibility for their decisions. If a student fails a class after skipping it many times, they can’t blame anybody else but themselves. Making mistakes allows student to see the outcome of their decisions. Ultimately, this will better enable them to make deliberate choices about how they spend their time on campus.
    Allowing classroom attendance to be optional will help students develop more fully than they would if it were mandatory. It also allows students to skip classes that would otherwise waste their time.
