答案 Personally speaking, I believe schools should build their own parking lots. And I have the following reasons.
First, parking lots will make students find it easier to park their cars. Many college students in the U.S. drive to school every day. If the parking lots are insufficient on campus, students might choose to take public transportation to school or park their cars on street corners. However, they will receive tickets from the police for illegal parking if the place is prohibited for car parking. More parking spaces will not only save students’ trouble of finding places for their car, but also encourage more students to drive and study at the schools, because parking convenience is one of the major concerns when students choosing schools. Secondly, building parking lots will also offer a chance for schools to enlarge their income. The more parking space available, the more money school can collect from car parking.
