Would you rather live in a big place but far from campus? Or would you like a small apartment close to the university? Explain why.

答案 I very much prefer to live in a small place close to campus. There are two reasons for my choice.
First is convenience: a big apartment takes time to clean. Plus, travelling from an apartment far away from campus wastes more time. By contrast, a small apartment is easy to keep clean and one has a short walk to the university.
My other, weightier, reason is environmental concern. Regardless of whether one drives or takes a bus, living far from the campus wastes gasoline. There is no reason to live far and use up fossil fuels if one can live close to his school or job.
Thus, for reasons of convenience and the environment, I prefer to live near campus in a small place.
