女士们、先生们：
    大家晚上好!很荣幸出席本次晚宴活动。
    本届论坛以“合作与共赢：构建亚洲命运共同体”为主题，准确绘制了亚洲未来发展的蓝图。
    亚洲曾是古代文明的发源地。但近代以来，亚洲历经磨难，不少国家沦为殖民地或半殖民地。二战后，许多亚洲国家相继获得独立，但又深受冷战影响。冷战结束以来，亚洲国家积极探索符合自身国情的发展道路，坚持相互尊重、平等互利、合作共赢，扎实推动经济一体化，创造了举世瞩目的亚洲奇迹，正在成为全球最具发展活力的地区。亚洲复兴正成为时代强音。
    在全球化深入发展的今天，世界已经变成“地球村”，各国利益相互交融、相互联系前所未有，已形成密不可分的命运共同体。亚洲经济已成为全球经济增长的重要引擎，让我们引以为傲，但亚洲的发展不平衡问题也日益突出。站在新的历史起点上，亚洲唯有顺应潮流、把握机遇、构建更为紧密的命运共同体，才能行稳致远。
    依敝人拙见，构建亚洲命运共同体需要打牢三个支柱：
    一是利益共同体。这是命运共同体的物质基础。亚洲国家应着力提升区域合作水平，不断深化利益融合，实现共同发展。
    二是责任共同体。这是命运共同体的安全保障。稳定是福、动荡是祸。相较其他地区，亚洲总体稳定，这一局面值得珍惜。亚洲国家应担负起维护地区安全的首要责任，通过加强对话合作不断增强理解互信，携手维护地区和平稳定。
    三是人文共同体。亚洲不同文明多姿多彩、交相辉映，应加强交流对话、包容互鉴、共同进步。要着力增加人员往来，增进国民友好感情，把亚洲建设成为和谐和睦的大家庭。
    女士们，先生们：军队是和平的守护者，也是安全合作的主体。面对日益复杂多元的安全挑战，各国应扩大交流合作，增进理解信任，加强军民协调，共同应对风险挑战。我希望论坛发挥优势，为亚太安全对话与合作搭建新的平台，为构建亚洲命运共同体贡献更大的力量。
    最后，预祝本届论坛取得圆满成功。

    Good evening! It’s my great honor to attend the banquet.
    The theme of this year’s forum — "Win-win through Cooperation: Building an Asian Community of Shared Destiny" — has appropriately charted the course for the future development of Asia.
    Asia, the cradle of ancient civilization, has gone through a lot of hardships in modern times, with many countries becoming colonies or semi-colonies. Many of them won back their independence after World War II , only to be trapped in a Cold War. Since the end of the Cold War, Asian countries have been enthusiastically exploring development paths suited to their national conditions. Embracing the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation, Asian countries substantially promoted the process of economic integration and created the awe-inspiring Asian miracle. Asia is well on its way to becoming the most dynamic region in the world, and Asian rejuvenation has become the theme of the times.
    The deepening globalization today has transformed the world into a "global village". Never before have the interests of countries been so closely inter-connected. We are all bound together as one community of shared destiny. While we take pride in Asia’s becoming a major drive of world economic growth, we are aware of the imbalances of development building up in Asia. Asia is now standing at a new historical starting point, and cannot go far unless it follows the trend of the times, seize opportunities, and construct an even closer community of shared destiny.
    In my humble opinion, we need to build three pillars for the Asian community of shared destiny.
    First, a community of shared interests.  This is the material foundation for the community.
    Asian countries should strive to enhance regional cooperation, deepen the integration of interests, and thus achieve common development.
    Second,  a community of shared responsibility.   This is an important safeguard for the community. Stability is a blessing, while instability is a curse. Compared with some other regions, Asia is blessed with overall stability. This situation is worth cherishing. Asian countries should assume the primary responsibility of maintaining regional security. We should enhance mutual understanding and trust through strengthened dialogue and cooperation, and jointly promote regional peace and stability.
    Third a community of culture and people. Asia boasts its diversified cultural heritage. We should strengthen communication and dialogue, encourage inclusiveness and mutual learning, and forge ahead together. We should also increase the flow of our peoples, deepen friendship and turn Asia into a big and harmonious family.
    Ladies and Gentlemen,
    The military is the guardian of peace as well as the leading player in security cooperation. Confronted with increasingly complex security challenges, our militaries should enhance exchanges and cooperation, increase understanding and trust, strengthen military-civilian coordination and jointly respond to risks and challenges. I hope the Forum will bring into full play its advantages and build a new platform for security dialogue and cooperation in the Asia-Pacific.  We are looking forward to its even greatr contributions to the building of an Asian community of shared destiny. To conclude, I wish the Forum a complete success. Thank you!
