    The anger has become political in Britain, as it has in many countries whose governments encourage citizens to cycle rather than drive to work, to lessen the impact on the environment and on traffic. Johnson has arguably done more than any previous politician for London cyclists, establishing a $ 1. 6 billion fund to make cycling safer in the city and appointing London’s first cycling commissioner.
