A half-day strike has been called in the Bangladesh capital Dacca on Tuesday as part of the continuing anti-government protests. It will coincide with the meeting of donor countries in Dacca to discuss an aid program worth nearly 2 billion dollars. The strike was called by the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party after it boycotted Parliament on the first day of the new session.
