答案             Competition
When we have to face competition, instead of trying to run away, we’d better give a full play to the positive effects of it. Competition, when used in a correct way. can bring about many benefits for us. First and foremost, we can be reminded to remain alert by competition rather than allowing ourselves to feel comfortable all the time, while wasting precious time. And another positive effect of competition comes when the participants involved can be driven to perfect themselves in the hope of becoming better. Examples of this kind are abundant, such as the McDonald and KFC. Similarities drag them into
competition, while competitions help them to advance. And it goes without saying that competition in the market place will produce a result that would benefit the people at the receiving end of products and services.
Given all the benefits discussed earlier, participating in the competition does not necessarily mean we must win. Everyone would like to be the victory of the competition, but it’s not easy to win. So, before we get into the competition of any kind, we should be prepared for the possibility of failure. However, this recognition does not mean where efforts are, where good results are. It only means that we should try our best, wait for the results and accept whatever that destiny prepares for us.
Another fact we have to bear in mind is that we have to choose the competition suitable for us, and refusing some competition is also a form of bravery. We carl easily find people competing with others over issues that bear little importance or value to them. Road rage, for example, is characterized by the intolerance of many drivers on the road. And conflict is expected when one driver overtakes another, causing the other’s feeling of failure in such a "race", assort of "competition". For such competition, we should be wise enough not to get involved in.
After understanding the benefits, expectations and problems with competition, we may feel safe to say that we can embrace competition with open arms and be happy with what it brings.
