The telephone has also made the world seem smaller. It allows us to talk with people all over the country and even all over the world. Tile telephone also helps you stay in touch with friends, and relatives, both near and far. In addition, the telephone has created many new industries and jobs. It has also saved countless lives in emergencies.
   On the negative side, the telephone can be a big lime waster, both at work and at home. It often interrupts us and can even keep us from accomplishing our daily tasks. The telephone has also brought us plenty of unwanted calls. The telephone k-wets people write personal letters. The telephone can also cause people to make fewer personal visits, since they can simply talk to people 0n the phone.
   From the above, we can see, then, the role that the telephone plays in our lives. It is widely used in our daily life. Even so, it has had both positive and negative effects on modern life.
