There are growing interest in how early life affects us in adulthood. However, most previous studies rely on recollection of people. Whereas this research tracks participants from early childhood to their young adulthood. The research shows that babies who are given more love and affection by mothers can deal better with stress and anxiety when they grow up. (11) The research looks into 482 eight-month-old children, finding that even the very early life experiences children do not remember can influence their later happiness. The researchers, led by Dr. Joanna Maselko of Duke University in North Carolina, rate the relationship between these eight-month-old babies and their mothers through routine developmental assessment.
