How to Cope with Sub-health?
Sub-health, by Merriam-Webster’s definition, means "a condition of reduced vigor in the absence of overt ailment." It is a potential threat to our well-being and needs to be dealt with. To cope with sub-health, we must exercise more often and take in food periodically.
First of all, doing exercises on a regular basis helps improve our vigor and stamina. The major cause of sub-health is the excessive pressure from work. If we do some exercises, such as yoga and jogging, the stress would be relieved and we would feel vigorous and energetic. Sub-health is an in-between state where our body is susceptible to diseases. It is, therefore, crucial to reverse this state and restore the health by doing exercises. Secondly, a periodic eating schedule is also helpful to cope with sub-health. It is reported that another major cause of sub-health among office people is the irregular consumption of food. When they are immersed in some urgent projects, they would put whatever food is handy into their mouth or even skip meals. The digestive system is thus impaired, which potentially threatens the immune system. That is why we should develop a regular eating habit.
In conclusion, sub-health could be controlled and eliminated by physical training and habitual intake of food.
