    Lavender’s healing properties were first discovered by accident.【T2】In 1910 a French chemist and perfumer burnt himself in a laboratory explosion. He plunged his singed hand into the nearest liquid which happened to be lavender essence and was so impressed with the results that he devoted 50 years to studying the properties of essential oils.
