    People all over our country are making active preparations for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. We have come to realize the significance of the Games. As the host of the Games, China will show the world that she can host the Games, and she is bound to host the Games well.
    I’m prepared to make some contribution to the Games. First, I’m going to start an English corner in our neighborhood. I plan to teach people around me some simple English, such as "How do you do?" "Welcome to China". Second, I have applied to be a volunteer in Beijing during the Games. What’s more, whenever I go out for a long distance, I will choose to ride the bike or take the buses and subways instead of traveling in private cars.
    With our joint efforts, I’m sure that Beijing Olympic Games will be one of the most successful Games in history.
