    Nowadays, many college graduates still view city as their only choice in their job-hunting. Many of them prefer staying in city with little income to working in the countryside with a steady income. Some even are willing to abandon their specialty for a job that has nothing to do with their major in order to stay in city.
    This phenomenon occurs for different reasons. One reason is that many college students arc quite aware of the fact that the city possesses far more conveniences and facilities than the countryside. In the second place, they believe that there are more opportunities for their development in city. Furthermore, some college students, tired of their parents’ living style in the countryside, would like to live in a different way in city.
    These ideas seem correct, but can never deny the advantages of the countryside for college graduates. Firstly, they have more choices in deciding on their jobs and many of them can use their knowledge in the field of their specialties. Then there are more opportunities in the countryside for the college students to develop not only academically but also socially. What’s more, the value of life lies more in a person’s contribution to society than in other things, and when the college graduates help improve the countryside, they will feel proud of their self-fulfillment. Therefore, working in the countryside would be a nice choice for many college students.
