    Thomas Edison coined the world’s most inspiring idea—Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. It is not unusual to notice that someone who is endowed with talents is reduced to mediocrity, while some others without any natural gift rank among the great geniuses. So what makes a genius?
    I am a firm believer in Edison’s remark. It is perspiration that makes a person become a talent and Thomas Edison himself is a wonderful example to illustrate this point. Edison was once identified as a mentally retarded student and deprived of being educated at school. However, with tremendous efforts, he was listed as the top inventor, with no one outstripping him in the kingdom of invention.
    In a word, despite the fact that inspiration is to a genius what motor is to an auto, industry matters a great deal for a person to be successful. Today’s world allocates us everything to improve ourselves, to set our goals, to walk on our determined path, and to reach our enlightened destiny; however, without industry and painstaking efforts, everything will be in vain.
