    Recently, a series of academic dishonesty cases have been exposed to the public. Some of these scholars involved are even world-renowned experts.
    As we all know, serious consequences may arise from academic misconduct if we still continue taking a wait-and-see attitude. To start with, academic dishonesty will definitely go on to contaminate the academic environment. Next, such immoral behavior, especially conducted by prestigious experts, will produce adverse effects on students. In addition, the fact that original papers cannot be well protected will discourage these ambitious scholars’ enthusiasm, which is harmful to the academic advances.
    As college students, we can not turn a blind eye to this phenomenon. Firstly, we should be fully aware that combating academic misconduct is in the line of our duty.
