    This picture reflects a common phenomenon in the teaching of Chinese subject in China that a Chinese teacher cannot speak Mandarin! No matter how ridiculous it is, this is the real situation in some areas of China, particularly in some remote areas. As far as I am concerned, we should make efforts to put an end to this phenomenon for the following reasons.
    Firstly, a common language is of great importance to the communication and integration of various ethnic groups in China. Secondly, kids are supposed to learn our mother tongue well. For teachers of Chinese subject who influence their students a lot, it is a must to speak Mandarin. Last but not least, with the economic development of China, Mandarin, as a kind of soft power, should be popularized.
    In conclusion, there are also more reasons to support the wide use of Mandarin, and what we need to do most is to try every means to learn and use it.
