But Americans regard age as a highly personal secret and try their best to avoid mentioning it. Asking about the age of others in the public is considered a rude activity.
   Such differences require us to have more respect for social customs in different cultures and act properly. Only in this way can we understand each other better and promote the friendship between people of different countries.
