    The colorful college life is reflected by different activities in which the students are engaged. Their primary task is learning. But besides, they have students’ union ( 学生会 ) organizing different sports events and entertainment activities for them. Moreover, they are busy seeking part-time jobs or internship opportunities ( 实习机会 ) outside university, which has become increasingly popular and seems indispensable because of job market’s emphasis on working experience.
    Them is no doubt that internship or part-time job is a good choice for the students planning their spare time. After all, they can help the students know the real world and accumulate valuable working experience. It is also an important channel for applying what they have learned to the real work. Work experience might also provide additional opportunity for the students to learn to work with others effectively in a team. Since most learning is accomplished in solitary activity, it is necessary for them to have other chances to know how to cooperate with others.
    However, some misconceptions must be noted. Part-time work or internship does cost students’ time. Therefore, when one plans to do a part-time job, one has to consider one’s own ability to handle both study and part-time work. Part-time work also means taking time from learning. Moreover, not all students find part-time job an enjoyable experience. Some might feel too tired to do a part-time job after learning. Others just find no time for that. Therefore, it is not a good choice for all. The key is that they should be clear about their primary task, and so arrange their spare time accordingly.
