    In this information age, people have distinct ways to get information. Some people believe that the internet is the best source of information. This 20th-century invention enables people to obtain a wide range of information from news to the latest academic reports, from sports to entertainment. What’s most fascinating, the internet fuses media as diverse as television, telephone communication, video games, music and data transmission, making information collection no longer a tedious work, but rather interesting and interactive.
    However, some other insist the traditional media are the best sources of information. Take newspaper for example. A good modem newspaper also offers a variety.  The information ranges from local crime to international politics, from business to fashion to science, from criticism of books to theater and music. Most important of all, it offers in-depth comments, feature articles and editorials, all of with provide more elaborate and accurate information.
    It’s true that the internet is being widely-used around the world to transmit information. But it doesn’t follow that the tradition media will give way to this modem invention. Both have their own merits, and meet the needs of different people.      Together they facilitate our work, and add much diversity to our lives.
