    I have just heard the good news that you have been admitted to the Graduate School of Peking University. Congratulations! (l)
    Peking University is one of the top universities in the country, so I think the competition to enter the school must be fierce, but you finally achieved your dream. As a friend, I am so happy and so proud of you. I do appreciate your intelligence, work hard, determination and persistence. As you can know now, you have set a good example for me. I used not to have so much confidence in trying the best schools, but now, at least, your success gives me hope. So, I also would like to say "thank-you" to you along with "congratulations".
    By the way(2), if you can arrange the time, would you come to my school for a gathering? I think it will be great for us to celebrate this success together and most importantly, both of us need some relaxation!
