We interrupt this program to bring you a special news bulletin. This afternoon, a school bus that left Central Junior High School at 3 p.m. was struck by a tractor-trailer truck that crashed headlong into the rear of the bus. The student getting off the bus plus ten other children have been badly injured. The truck driver also was hurt when the tmck overturned into a ditch. Authorities say that there is no indication that the truck drivel’ or the bus driver had been drinking, nor can poor weather conditions be used to explain the accident.
