    In keeping with the trend of the time, all kinds of blind-date shows on TV are already quite popular nowadays. The blind-date shows have drawn great attention from the audiences when they are aired on TV, and have become the focus of conversation.
    Two main reasons contribute to the popularity of these blind-date shows among the participants. First of all, the increasingly rapid pace of life makes a large crowd of young people fall in work pressure and fatigue and some of them have no time to meet new friends. Furthermore, there is a serious imbalance in sex ratio. A large number of young people remain single when they reach the marriageable age.
    As far as I’m concerned, some guests in the shows are not looking for partners but for becoming well-known; others attach too much importance to the appearance or finance of the candidates. These problems should be restricted so as to avoid money-worship and materialism.
