    I am writing to apply for the position of assistant editor advertised in the Youth Magazine.
    I am convinced I can meet the qualifications required. Firstly, I will graduate from Peking University with a B. A. degree with a major in English and a minor in journalism in July this year. Secondly, when I was a freshman, I began to contribute articles to newspapers and magazines, which greatly improved my writing skills.
