    A sports meeting was held this Morning on the playground. My fellow students took park in various kinds of track and field events were taken by my fellow students and I signed up for men’s 400-meter race.
    Upon hearing the starting gun’s firing sound, Li Gang, a competitive player, and I dashed forward like wind and led the race. But unfortunately, in the middle of the race he tripped and fell down heavily. At the sight of this scene, I stopped to help him up without hesitation and waited for the medical workers to come. At the same time, other players passed us quickly. After the medical workers took him away, I ran to the finish line.
    Of course, I was the last one in the race. But I felt I did the right thing, for there exists something more important than awards.
