My father was a renowned and respectable painter in my hometown, but he never forced me to follow in his footsteps. Instead, he just guided me to achieve inner peace and cultivate patience through painting and calligraphy. Although I’m working in a different field now as a civil servant, what I’d learned from my father did shape my personality, affecting how I work and how I see the world.
