Well, obesity can be really bad for children’s growth. Obese kids are vulnerable to school bullying. Generally speaking, children like to make fun of those who are different from them. So the obese kids would probably feel isolated, more inclined to keep to themselves instead of communicating with others. This might have a long-lasting influence on their future development. Worse still, school students with obesity problem would find it hard to concentrate on study because they may feel hungry easily, which is a great distraction. So they’re more likely to be discouraged and more prone to play truant.
