答案     According to the professor, there are two important factors that influence an individual’s intelligence. The first factor is the sort of brain a person is born with. Human brains differ greatly in many ways. Some brains may be more capable than others. The second factor lies in the sort of environment in which a person is brought up. The influence of environment on an individual’s intelligence can be seen from the example of the twins who are raised in different environments. In the example given by the professor, the twin brothers, Peter and Mark, of course, have identical brains, but they have different IQs and performances in schools due to the different environments in which they have been brought up. This example is really convincing and powerfully proves the importance of the influence of environment on an individual’s intelligence.
